Praying for Someone
There are days when prayer becomes a bridge — a silent path that connects hearts even when distance or routine tries to separate them. Today, you are invited to dedicate two minutes to praying for someone you love. Two minutes may seem like little, but before God, time doesn't measure depth.
Choose a name. Just one. Someone you carry in your heart, someone who may need strength, healing, direction, or rest. Close your eyes. Breathe. Allow your heart to speak before your mouth. Sometimes, the truest prayer is born without words, just from a surrendered sigh.
Interceding is a gesture of love that the other person doesn't always see, but always receives. Prayer crosses walls, kilometers, confusion, and long nights. And while you pray for someone, God also reaches you. He calms, organizes, embraces.
Pray simply: "Lord, take care." "Lord, enlighten." "Lord, sustain." Or simply: "Lord, be present."
It doesn't need to be elaborate. It needs to be sincere.
While you pray, perceive the peace approaching. Perhaps gentle, perhaps firm, but always certain. God always answers—even in silence—because true prayer first touches heaven, then touches the heart.
When the two minutes are over, place that person's name in God's hands. Leave it there. Trust. His care is always greater than your worry.
Today, you sow love in the form of prayer. And every prayer planted returns in the form of grace.
