Moments of Silence with God
Silence is a home where God speaks softly, but deeply. Sometimes, it's necessary to withdraw from the noise of the world to hear what can only be heard from within. Today, the challenge is simple and sacred: set aside five minutes of your day to sit and be silent before God.
You don't need to do anything. You don't need to ask for anything. You don't need to solve anything. Just be. Allow yourself to exist in His presence. Sit in a quiet place, light a candle if you wish, breathe slowly. The soul also needs pause, rest, a place where it can recover.
In the first few seconds, your mind may try to return to worries. That's normal. Just gently return to silence. Let your body settle. Let your breath find its own rhythm. Let your heart perceive His presence—because God is always there, even when we are too distracted to notice.
Silence is not emptiness. It is space. Space for healing, for guidance, for comfort. When you quiet down, things begin to rearrange themselves inside. Peace arrives slowly, as if not wanting to startle you. Faith grows silently. Hope awakens.
Stay there. Just five minutes. Just you and God. And when you're done, perhaps you'll realize that something has changed—sometimes something small, sometimes something immense. Sometimes just enough to remind you that you are cared for, accompanied, loved.
Today, allow silence to be prayer.
